The Ethereans — First Year Recap!
We’ve recently completed one year since the official launch of The Ethereans and we have decided to make a summary of what we have built during this beautiful and exciting year.
If you know us from the beginning, we are a project that bases its existence on transferring real utility to our holders and we especially try to cover aspects in which we consider NFTs have a bright future, such as the metaverse or gaming. But we don’t stay only with that, we also cover topics such as 3D printing, high quality animations, merch and more.
Without further ado we will begin this temporary recap with the first major tool we built, the Etherean Imperial File System (EIFS), a tool not seen before on the NFT space (if we are not mistaken). Built on Unreal Engine with infinite possibilities for makers, as a holder you can install our client at ethereans.quest and download 3D print files and a rigged model. Then you can develop on Unity or Unreal Engine… any video game your imagination can process. We provided the tool to make it possible without spending a big budget on it. You can read more here.
We continue with another great milestone that we started a few months ago, the hangars for your Ethereans. The Etherean hangar is the main landing point in Planet Crypto, the place where all the Ethereans will park their spaceships; but it will not only be used as a meeting point and this is just the beginning for our Oncyber experience. But what is a hangar without spaceships? Nothing! That’s why we did a collaboration with Graycraft NFT for the launch of an exclusive spacecraft. In addition to this we have designed our own ships that we are building for holders to have a transportation vehicle that matches the standard of living of Ethereans on Planet Crypto. Several styles, each one with its particularities and specifications, adapted to the different uses that these characters can give them: battles, family travel, police security, racing… And more important: “Interoperable”. Talking about metaverse… TheSandboxGame! We’ve signed @TheLandVault as partner to build Planet Crypto on a 2x2 plot. LandVault is not just any builder, it’s the largest developer in TheSandboxGame. Different themed neighborhoods, several games inside our lands and more surprises we can’t tell for now. Some plots will be a free-to-explore experience available to everyone and the rest will be used to create owner-exclusive games and collaborations with other projects and artists. We are firmly committed to TheSandboxGame, as you see, but if you want to be up to date you can follow our important developments here.
But we won’t stay only around the Sandbox metaverse, Ethereans and Planet Crypto already have lands in other metaverses such as Decentraland, The Otherside, Worldwide Webb or Cryptovoxels. And even in the Bueno NFT microverse, in which we are very bullish. In each metaverse you will find games, quests to collect and get other NFTs, get to know Planet Crypto and its hideouts, follow part of the lore…
(Almost) last but not least, one of our main goals when we started The Ethereans brand was to be able to create real utility for our holders. For this we‘ve collaborated with Uniqly.io for the launch of our first batch of merchandise available NOW here. Uniqly opens the door to Wearables 3.0 and offers the possibility to mint a limited NFT for use in different metaverses such as Sandbox, Decentraland… Even AR apps. All that while being able to claim your NFT in real life and wear it around carrying a Proof of Authenticity. They’ve collaborated with projects such as Cyberkongz, SupDucks, Metakey, NFT.NYC… And now The Ethereans! Stay tuned for the official announcement! You can read more here.
And finally, we couldn’t forget to thank the many people we have met along the way, and not only IRL, but also our community, the people who work with us, those who supported us from the beginning and those who have just arrived.
